Our Story
The marsh raised us.
Southern Drift Co. was born from a lifetime spent on the water — fishing the creeks, water skiing the Wilmington, and watching the sun melt into the marshes off Moon River. It is a brand and a creative house in equal measure, dedicated to documenting and reinterpreting the emotional geography of the American South.

Savannah is home to one of the strongest art ecosystems in the country, anchored by the Savannah College of Art and Design. Yet so much of the lived Southern water culture — the dock days, the oyster roasts, the long quiet glide of a johnboat through the spartina — has gone untold in modern design.
Southern Drift bridges that gap. We collaborate with regional artists, designers, and emerging creatives to transform our shared coastal heritage into contemporary artifacts: garments, prints, objects, and stories that travel beyond the Lowcountry.
Commerce isn’t the goal — it’s the mechanism. Every piece you buy supports a local creator, funds a new collaboration, and helps us export an authentic, refined Southern coastal identity beyond its geographic borders.

We started with a small curated collection because we had to start somewhere. Every piece sold today funds the next chapter — original collaborations with local artists, prototype collections, and a future Savannah brick-and-mortar.
